Description: Beginning at 8:00am on May 8th with light refreshments at the Mexican Heritage Plaza, BusinessOwnerSpace.compartners, Wells Fargo, FranNet, Marble Bridge, work2future, and the City of San José will collaborate to bring a wide range workshops designed to help small businesses deal with a changing economy at the 8th Annual Summit on Entrepreneurship andInnovation. Topics will help attendees to secure funding, negotiate cost-saving leases, adjust to change, market effectively, start and grow a business, maintain working capital, and build wealth through business ownership. In addition, there will be nearly 20 resource tables to allow attendees to have one-on-one interactions with assistance providers such as SCORE, Minority Business Development Agency, Kiva, and SCU’s Entrepreneurs’ Legal Advising Clinic. The event will be rounded out with a session over lunch focused on better understanding additional topics which are “keeping small business owners up at night” to explore how the larger small business assistance ecosystem can provide more help. English, Spanish, and Vietnamese flyers and additional details are available on the registration site at: http://bit.ly/2UlWXHj.
