Getting Started

Each work2future One-Stop Center offers a full range of job search services that help jump-start a job search, all at no cost to the job seeker.

At the One-Stop Centers, job seekers will:

  • Meet with a Welcome Team Member for Orientation (download Packet and Presentation)
  • Complete the enrollment process prior to receiving service
  • Receive an initial assessment
  • Schedule and appointment to meet with a talent coach
  • Participate in activities driven by the Talent Coaching Team

Upon completion of enrollment, the Talent Coaching Team works closely with each job seeker to determine next steps which might include:

  • Comprehensive Assessments
  • Counseling and support
  • Workshops
  • Community resources
  • Job networking services

work2future is teaming up with the Employment Development Department (EDD) and several state and local partners combining resources to ensure Veterans receive the assistance and support they need.  Veterans receive priority in job and training referrals as well as other employment-related services.  Please bring proof of veteran status ( DD214 or VA records) to your initial visit to the One Stops to let  us know you are a Veteran.   For additional information go to: http://www.work2future.biz/content/job-seeker-services_Veterans_Services/
